I currently have hd6870, and I got the card when it just came out around fall of 2010. The card's working fine... but when i play games on it the card fan starts to go crazy.

I've checked the temperature when I play games and these days it goes up to 95+ degrees Celsius(for example: playing Diablo 3 on 1080p with highest setting)

I'm just scared it might just die on me any time and this computer was the first one i ever built on my own.

So here's the question:

1)Is it safe to use it for.. how long? I occasionally use air duster to blow-clean but I don't think I'm doing it right.
2)I don't need crazy-high end gpu if I ever were to upgrade, and if it really is safe to use my current card, i'd rather use it.
3)I prefer ati over nvidia, but I don't really care as long as the card is good enough.
4)what would be the best mid-high performance gpu right now atm if i were to upgrade it?

With just a quick search I found this video on YouTube showing how to clean an HD 6870. 20 minutes of your time would save you money upgrading as you said you'd rather not have to.
