Hi,
I've been trying to plug my PS4/PS3 to my monitor using this adapter http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0035B4LJM/ref=oh_deta... but when I plug it in and turn on the PS3/PS4 I get nothing on the screen. Before I have the console plug up to the montor it says no connection signal, when I turn it on that goes away and the screen is just black. Anyone know what's going on? Oh and my monitor is a Acer S20SHL.

The 1.7 Update for the PS4 will be adding the option to disable HDCP. But yeah, what urmamasllama said is true at this time

And, DVI doesn't Carry Audio so you will not be getting any sound through this method
