With my iPhone 5 or iPad Air in same location as my desktop computer, my iDevices will get 2 Mbps or less while my desktop gets a solid 10 Mbps.
My desktop's network card has a 2 inch high wired antenna that sits on my desk. Is that simply the reason why it gets such better speeds?
