Black screen crash/wont reboot properly

Hi my rig seems to randomly crash whilst playing games 1st black screen then become completely unresponsive then my gpu fans speed up to max to top that off i have to shut down my pc at the button the go on/off a few times for it to power up fully its only happened recently in past 2 weeks but getting more frequent.
rig about 2-3yrs old
specs
MOBO.. asrock Z77 extreme 4
CPU. intel 3550 cpu 3.3ghz was 4.1ghz with h100
16gb pariot ram
STORAGE. 2terabyte hd 1 120gb ssd hyper x
GRAPHICS. sapphire 7950 OC
PSU. coolermast 650watt
MISC. 11 fans+fan speed controller

im not sure if its psu/mobo/gpu faulty ive tried gpu in other slots even taken out completly but dont have spare mobo/psu to hand

you say this only happens when gaming? Are you running anything to check temperature? It could be an overheating issue. Is it properly ventilated? You say the fan goes to max after..is it possible you do not hear it while playing the game? As for having to restart it a few times before it works, are you trying to restart it right after...if it is thermal issue it may not have cooled down enough to restart immediately.

If it generally happens after x minutes of gaming you could check temperature as you go. You can use programs like HWMonitor, SpeedFan, etc. If you have dual monitor and game only takes one you could watch it as you play.

Do you have any issues with the hard drive (check temps on it too), if any issues like programs loading slower lately or longer boot times than normal, you may be need to run a full test on it and i think SpeedFan has an option to test it also.

ive been running Open Hardware Monitor and my MOBO is 23-53°C CPU 24-41°C around the same and gpu 26-50°C on max also ive tried gaming with case open and the fans are spinning. yes i was trying to restart it straight after.
i have no issues with my ssd/hdd and no problems with speed.

ps added problem i tried to install speedfan and got instant blue screen then hard powerdown then refuses to boot up properly as it boots up then powers down constantly until i turn all the power off at the plug

never had speedfan cause that. i would just uninstall that if causing such a conflict either regularly or by safemode. How long will system stay up when you are not gamming?
