we need to know which i7(4770k, 4771, 3770, etc)....if you want to sli/cfx gpu....what form factor the case you are going to put it in (atx,matx,itx) if your psu has a 24pin mobo power cable or a 20 pin...if you are able to overclock or want to overclock

a little more info is needed. What i7? A locked multiplier cpu requires only a 'B' or 'H' motherboard vrs an unlocked 'K' cpu which to match its potential really needs a 'Z' motherboard. Is the i7 an LGA 1155/1156 (i7 3xxx series) or is it a newer Haswell LGA 1150 (i7 4xxx series) or Intel Extreme LGA 2011 (i7 xxxx Extreme Edition). Each of these chips use different motherboards, so unless we know exactly what cpu you will use, a choice of motherboard is kind of impossible.

@ SR-71 thats the one i was going to suggest as well has the best power phases for overclocking. the others in the price range are only 4
