My aftermarket exhaust case fan, CoolMaster 120mm JetFlow, has been running 2000 RPM lately, and I decided to look at my temperatures. When I play Guild Wars 2, my processor temp skyrockets to 69-73 Celsius. Is this normal or is it extremely hot? It seems hot to me, but I don't know tbh. I don't overclock (sadly, I don't even know how to) and I am running stock heatsink&fan. I am using Arctic Silver OEM thermal compound instead of the Intel-provided paste.

I'm a bit new to PC building, and I don't know much about PC's. Any advice or insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

PC Spec:
Haswell I-7 4770k (stock heat sink & fan)
Arctic Silver OEM Thermal Paste
Asrock Fatal1ty z87 Killer Motherboard
ASUS GTX 770 2GB Direct CU2 GPU
G Skill 8 GB RAM PC17000 2133mhz
EVGA 650 watt NEX Gold-Rated PSU
Cooler Master N500 Mid ATX Tower Case
Cooler Master 120mm Jet Flow case fan (x1)
Cooler Master 120mm Sickle Flow case fan (x3)
Rosewill 120MM White LED case fan (x3)

Yes with the stock cooler those temps are pretty normal and well within spec yet.
For pretty cheap you can get the CM Hyper 212 Evo which will bring the temps down and give you some room to Overclock which isn't too terribly difficult.

I have a i7 4770K like you. 69-73C isn't a major issue, but I would recommend investing in an aftermarket CPU cooler. For a decent one, they usually don't run more than $30 USD

Alright. Thanks everyone for your response. Atleast I'm at ease now that I know I'm running under normal temperatures. Yeah, I ordered everything from newegg.com, so I'll probably save some money within 4 weeks or so to buy that.
