Running EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Graphics Card on 300 watt PSU?

Ive been reading around a lot that you can run a EVGA GeForce GTX 750 on a 300 watt PSU, I was wondering if there was any relevance to this?

What do you mean? It can be run on a 300 watt power supply.

If the full power supply is dedicated to just the Video Cards, then yes. You have to take into account that the rest of the computer will be drawing power from the Power Supply as well. CPU, RAM, and all the fans, lights, etc will take a certain amount of wattage.

The manufacturer estimates usually take into account a rough estimate of the computer's electrical consumption. The GTX 750 can never actually use more than 75 watts because the PCIe slot can't push more than that.
