I'm planning on upgraded a few components and just wanted to make sure that the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo was going to provide enough cooling for the AMD FX-8350 i was planing on upgrading to. Don't plan on doing any OC. My case is a Fractal Define R4 with stock fans. Or any suggestions as to what would be a good CPU cooler would be great also.

I'm running an overclocked 8320 at 4.5ghz with a 212 evo and it never really gets hotter than 56C under prime95. I was going to push it harder but my socket temps were approaching 70C so I had to stop. I would say that the 212 evo is very effective at cooling AMD's FX lineup.

I am planning to buy a FX-8350 (overclocked to 4.2GHz) with a cooler Master hyper Tx3 EVO, can it keep my cpu cool enough?

Sorry for such a late and probably irrelevant reply, haven't been on tom's much lately. Well Tx3 might be able to do the trick if you can keep the processor at stock or slightly lower voltages. It is more meant for sub 100w processors though.

Nice. What's your ambient temp and which case do you have?
