Left my computer on and opened to the web. When I got home from work the screen was black but the tower was on. When I moved the mouse nothing happened the screen stayed black. When I shut off monitor and turned it back on the gateway logo came up and then was followed by a red green blue no signal message. I shut the tower off and turned it back on but still the same results. I'm not very computer savvy anybody have any idea what's wrong.?

this means the monitor is not getting a signal from the GPU. first things to do are make sure your cords are pluged in all the way. If so then it is time to make sure your GPU is plugged in and inserted into its slot correctly. If possible try to connect the monitor to a different source to make sure the monitor works.
