I was re-installing windows on my other pc when I wanted to cancel it, so I removed the windows cd while it was installing (I know stupid). Now when I turn it on it keeps going to system restore which can't restore anything because I have no windows on my computer. Is there any way to re-install windows, what will I need?

Put the windows DVD back in, format the drive, then install it.

Hi Confused_still
Someone somewhere is right ,
Go into the bios and set the boot options to boot from your DVD drive
Put back in the windows disc and reinstall windows , during install you will have the option to format the hard drive/ssd
you should do that , just make sure that if you have more than one hard drive in your computer that you
select the right one to format, because once you format you will erase all the data stored on that drive.
after install go back to the bios and set the boot options to boot from your windows installed hard drive/ssd
and you will be good to go

When it asks you what partition to install to, hit Advanced, then select the partition and select Format.
