hello,
greetings,
I am planning to buy a gtx 760 and here (http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-760/specifications) it says that "Supplementary Power Connectors = Two 6-pin".
I wanted to know that if it is mandatory to insert 2 6pin connectors, and what benefits will i get if i insert them.
and how do i know if a psu has 2 6pin connectors or not.

Solution
Yes, it's mandatory to insert them. To find out the connections of your PSU visit the site of the manufacturer and search for your PSU. Also keep in mind that if you're getting a non-reference card (like ASUS, MSI or Gigabyte) the card will likely have 1 6-pin and 1 8-pin connectors

thanks,i am planning to buy a new psu under 50 bucks what will u reccomend?

This is on sale: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153172
You can't get a better one for 50 bucks. Anything cheaper is either crappy quality or not sufficient for the GTX 760.

Scroll down just a little more on the newegg specifications page and you find this:
24 Pin x 1
CPU 4+4 Pin x 1
PCI-e 6+2 Pin x 2
SATA x 6
4 Pin Peripheral x 4
4 Pin Floppy x 1

The connectors used by graphics cards are PCI-e. 6+2 means that the connector can be used as a 6-pin or 8-pin connector without any adapters.
