Hi,

One of the fans for my Corsair H100i has started to malfaunction so the company where I bought the H100i is trying to offer me some other fans instead of the SP120L stock fan (easier and cheaper for them). The problem as I see it is that there isn't many fans that can compete with the SP120L regarding their high air flow and static pressure.

The best 120mm fan they have is the Noctua NF-F12 PWM. I also prefer symetry so if I get a non stock fan I will switch out both fans in the end.

If I would change to 2xNoctua NF - F12 PWM fan how much would the temperature rise on a i7-4770K then?
I have the CPU overclocked to 4.2GHz at the moment.

Is there any other fan that I should look into that can replace the SP120L without temperature drops?

Or should I simply demand a new SP120L?

I don't have a problem with the somewhat high noise level of the SP120L fan.

Thanks in advance!

Will the CPU get a lot hotter or just 1-3C degrees with the F12?

Yea I know but that's an option that will be timetaking because the company would rather give me a new h100i because its cheaper and easier for them and it will take a lot longer for me. Now they're just sending a replacement fan and then no more fuss about it.

I think I'll go for the NF F12 PWM fan seems like a good choise.

Thanks!
