HI,This is my problem,i had to replace my
MOBO in my DELL E521.
Next i installed WIN 7 OS,after replacing MOBO everything seems to work, but when i ran Speecy to see if everything had stayed the same found out my GT 610 video card did not show up,pulled card and re-installed it still not showing up.
If i have to replace it what would be the best and cheapest to but.
Here are my PC specs.
DELL E521,3.01 CPU,4GB'S RAM,WIN 7 64 BIT PREMIUM,NO GAMER CARD.
I looked at card and there is a small amount gold colored contact missing from card contacts.

HI,Thats one of first things i tried, but i had one hellva time even finding my video card anywhere and i think that is what my problem is, as it does not even show up in device manager.
Went to Nvidia web site Nvidia.com,and i was mistakenly under the impression that the on board card would be automatically over ridden,do you have site that works, thank's

HI, Well i cheated and dug out my box that the video card came in and went to their web site and now my video card shows up in device manager, you
know some of the things that go wrong with PC'S appear to be simple and stupid stuff.

HI,brarboy, Yes it looks like i may have winner,my PC was shut down and when i pushed the start button FIREFOX came on in few seconds have not tried with I.E. yet,but it usually took quite awhile to come up.
One thing i have not done yet is to go into setup and change boot order and see if my other HDD is still working.

are you using both the hdd same time or 1 at a time? Yet your story about firefox has confused me, what exactly are you trying to tell there?

HI,brarboy,I am using new HDD with WIN 7 on it,i just thought there was a way to switch between them without having to go into setup to change boot order.
I checked start up time with IE and it to was starting up faster then before.
Went into setup and changed boot order and old HDD still works, now all i have to do is transfer whats on old HDD to new HDD just have to go into manual for
WD external HDD and see how they download whats on X-HDD,you know the old saying when in doubt read the directions.
