Computer wont detect all external HD files

I have an APRICORN EZ-UP3 external hard drive enclosure. when I connect it to laptop it reads both D:/ and F:/ but when I plug it into my desktop, it only reads D:/. It's a laptop hard drive so idk if that matters. anyone have any idea what can i do?

have you tried assigning a drive letter in disk management?

start->type "computer management"->disk management->right click the section corresponding to "F:/" on your laptop->change drive letters or paths->pick a drive letter.
