hey guys,

i have had my water cooling for about 1 year now and i was thinking of upgrading,
my case will not fit more radiators so i thought i would make an external water cooling box.

do you have any ideas or opinions on what material i should use?
i was thinking of wood since it is not very expensive and pretty strong.

and will my EK-DCP 4.0 pump be strong enough to pump up in the standing 360 radiator and then about 55 centimeter up to my pc?

Thanks for answering!

Solution
The wooden radiator enclosure will work fine. I have seen PC cases made of wood. (I assume that the wooden case had a metal liner to protect the motherboard.) You can even have the radiator mounted bare without an enclosure.

I think your pump will be fine, but there is only one way to find out. If not you can always change the elevation.
