I bought that card so I can repair my XBOX 360, but I don't see where to plug it in the computer, I tried putting them into the ports under the PCI-E one, but it didn't fit, I don't see anywhere else to put it in, did I just waste my money??

More about : sata pci card

This is a PCi card, some modern computer only support the later PCIE versions. If there is no physical slot this cards fit into, you can't use it.

No, your board doesn not have the older PCI. You are supposed to run the cable from the xbox to the card to "translate" it to a language your pc can read and edit. Without the card I din't think you would be able to do that.

My world does not revolve around your question, patience would be nice.

I cant confirm 100% that this will work but looking at the thing itself, I can't find any reason why it wouldn't.

Another question, I have sata ports on the motherboard which my dvd and hard drive plug into why can't I use that? Or can I? But even though there are sata ports on my motherboard I can't find the drivers or whatever in device manager, how come?

I personally think it would work but maybe there are no drivers in Device Manager because there's nothing installed there.
