Ive got a i5 3570k hooked up to a corsair h110 and i know it isn't working at all because when i start up any game my cpu temp will go up 100 and i only just put the cooler in about an hour ago brand new so i have no idea why it wouldn't work, i hope someone can help thanks

Solution
Unplug the 3 pin from your mother board then plug it into a Molex connector. It should be on the same wire a the 3 pin. Your 3 pin connector on your motherboard might be set to only turn on when a device other than you CPU reaches a certain temp. I always plug my water pumps into direct power to avoid this.

If it does not work on the molex connector then send it back. You may have a bad pump or cold solder joint on the pump.

Also it could just simply be your thermal grease. Double check that you did not apply too much and that the old TIM was cleaned off properly.

If all else fails pull out your water block test it outside of your case by plugging it into a spare power supply and holding it up to your ear to see if it hums.
