I changed my HD 7850 to R9 290x recently. 290x worked quite well for two days, but the screen went off all of the sudden. Monitor is still on, and when I connect it to 290x, it senses that something is connected but no signal.
Then I thought, maybe I damaged the slot during change, so I changed slot; which didn't work either. Now I have no idea this is problem from graphic card or motherboard. I don't have 7850 in my hand right now so I can't check with it.
Motherboard is from ASUS, MAXIMUS V, which I've been using for like an year. 290x is from gigabyte, bought from Newegg two days ago. OS is Windows 7 64bit.
PS. I'm using 600w Power supply, but like I said it worked fine for couple of days.
