16GB (4x4GB) Corsair DDR3 Dominator Platinum, PC3-22400 (2800), NonECC Unbuffered, CAS 12-14-14-36, DHX, DF2, XMP, 1.65V

OR

32GB (4x8GB) Corsair DDR3 Dominator Platinum, PC3-17066 (2133), Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 9-11-11-31, DHX, XMP, 1.65V

Upon Browsing for prices there seems to be only £30 difference in the price. My dillema is 32Gb or 16Gb. 32 is £30 dearer. This is my first post to Toms Hardware, so Hi to you all. Focusonthefact

16gb is more than enough for the vast majority of users. 8gb is the recommended amount for gaming. Unless you are doing heavy video editing or running a server, 16gb is WAY more than enough. Quality>Quantity past 4gb.

Agree with huskersforever. 16GB is already overkill for the vast majority of uses. Unless you have some specific need for more than 16GB (in which case, why would you be here asking?) then 16GB is plenty and cheaper so that you can sink the money in to other components.
