Hi everyone,

Want to buy a graphics card for my Imedia I4523b UK, (specs below) got a low budget and found a Palit Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 StormX OC Graphics Card (2GB, GDDR5, PCI Express 3.0) is this card compatible with my pc? Thank you for the help.

Imedia I4523b UK
Windows 7
Intel core i3 processor 550
Intel GMA HD graphics
500Gb Hard drive
3GB DDR3
Extension card slot 1x PCI-Ex1, 1x PCI-E x16

Solution
The short answer is yes. Nothing in the specifications says otherwise.

However - If you have a slim-line case the card will not fit. Physically, I mean.

Also - You will get great performance from that GTX 750 but your processor and RAM will limit what it can do. That's not a reason to chuck the idea. Just don't be surprised if that paltry 3G's of DDR3 or your i3-550 bottleneck games and other such while the 750 is chugging along just fine.

Best of luck to you.

Thanks clayofthe757 I appreciate your answer. Space won't be a problem as the case is big enough and the graphics card is rather small in size. I'm also going to double up the ram to 6GB or maybe just get 2 x 4GB, hopefully this will help. Many thanks for the help.

You're very welcome. And 2 x 4Gb is a great solution.
