Hi,
I ordered a desktop for a customer. The CPU description was "2.8 Dual Core".
When I received the system, it turned out to have an Intel Core 2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13 GHz, according to the CPU-Z utility. I complained to the seller.
The seller wrote back and said he would be willing to replace it with a Pentium D at 2.8 or even 3.0 GHz, but that there was more to consider than just clock speed.
I'm a little intimidated by this. Can anybody tell me how these two processors compare, and whether I should get a replacement for my customer?
Thanks,
Lou
