Hello,

Needing to reduce the noise my case produces without having to fit in watercooling!

I have the, Be Quiet Shadow Rock Topflow SR1 as CPU Cooler, Video card is the Asus Radeon HD 7850 2gb and contains 2x200mm and 1x140mm Case Fan that is provide with the Phantom 820 NZXT (can't say for sure what model the fans are but might help)

Due to slow internet speed I often need to leave my computer on over night to do downloads and as the tower is in my room it is a lot of noticeable noise, I know without spending a lot I can't have a silent tower, just need it a bit quieter.

If you think it's too loud at night, it's definetly not the cpu or gpu cooler as they are under no siginifant loud while downloading. It's most likely the fans in the case. You can swap them out for some quiet ones from e.g. Noisblocker or install a fan controller that makes your fans spin very slowly to reduce noise.

You can add a fan controller to control the case fans manually and set them to a lower speed at night. You can also check out the bios fan control and depending on the Motherboard you may be able to plug the fans into the motherboard and lower the speed that way.
The best option is an inexpensive fan controller where you can just with a turn of a knob reduce the fan speeds.
