So, I'm looking at upgrading my monitor and I want something that will last and looks good so I'm looking at IPS monitors.

I'm currently using a BenQ XL2411T that is on its way out, It now wont run at 120Hz and I'm almost positive it's not running at 1ms now as well. So I'm looking at something more reliable, enter the Asus PA248Q. I attend college on a IT course and they use the PA248Q's because it's high quality, lasts long and doesn't strain your eyes while programming.

My personal usage will be about 50%Gaming, 30%Editing and about 20%Programming. But what I'm wondering is what is it like for gaming, I'm not bothered about the 6ms or the 60Hz but I have heard of reverse ghosting and ghosting while playing so what is your experience?

Thanks
-Sam

Assuming that you monitor is damaged , I think you should get 120 Hz + monitor .
As far as rendering and programming [ gaming too ] high refresh rate affects ur stuff.
It makes you to do stuff real quick . Rather if you use 60Hz monitor you will do stuff bit slow IMO .

But if you are fine with 60HZ PA248Q is the BEST !

You haven't experienced ghosting cause ur monitor is running at 60Hz +
I suggest you Asus VG24QE 144 Hz too

But..that's my Opinion
