Don't want to use the heatsink fan for the AMD FX 6300 (when I get it). Heard that the Cooler Master Hyper 212 is a really good heatsink fan but don't have that much money as building a custom pc. Would the Zalman CNPS5X Performa keep the AMD FX 6300 cool, I plan to overclock it from the stock 3.5ghz to around 4.2ghz. Would this cooler be good or is there another one that is cheap but good?

Thanks

From reviewers on Newegg:

This review is from: ZALMAN CNPS5X Performa 92mm FSB (Fluid Shield Bearing) Powerful Cooling Performance CPU Cooler

Pros: Great cooler ... Keeps my FX 6300 cool ... I am running at up to 4.6GHZ without a heat issue but I usally run at 4.35 in normal use. As I write this my CPU is at 34C and yjr processor is at 4.35... On the thermal paste that came with it, it might do better with aftermarket Can't ask for more ... Wasn't as hard to install as some have complained about but it could have been better thought out...

Cons: None at all.. You should only have to install it once ...

Other Thoughts: Glad I bought it .. Would buy another ...

Pros: easy to install, came with own supplied thermal grease, dropped my temps from 50c to 30 at idle with a fx-6300, fan is very quiet

Cons: heat sink did not fully cover my CPU ( amd am3+) but still dropped temps so i cant really complain, not a big enough reason to loose an egg over.

Other Thoughts: better then stock, would recommend on a budget.
