I have the AMD FX 8350 , I am happy with it I guess but when ever I render a video (I do YouTube) it takes up 70-100% of my CPU. I have been told that the AMD FX 8350 is good for multi-tasking and thus should be able to render , game and watch YouTube with little to no lag (correct me if I am wrong).

The performance I am getting doesn't match what was said as I cannot render a video and play a game at the same time as it is just to laggy. If anyone can help me fix this problem then please tell me soon!

Also if I am wrong about anything correct me :)

What are you complete system specs? The 8350 is a decent processor not the best for what you are trying to do but with that said it requires programs that are heavily multithreaded to work well. A way around this is if you find in task manager the apps you are using are using only 2-4 cores and the same cores you can set the affinity of the programs to be on differnt cores so that it distributes the processing load more even. This is manual and a bit of a hassle but maxs the preformance of a 8 core cpu in a low threaded environment.

When I render on Sony Vegas, I can usually play a game at almost playable frames or cruise the internet/watch a film at the same time.. this is on my 8350...
