I currently have a Sapphire hd 7870 xt with my setup but the next gen games are evolving, I can play pretty much any game I throw at it on max settings an get pretty good fps but I have been looking at the EVGA GTX 780 ti graphics cards an thinking of upgrading since my current gpu was my first an because I was on a budget its a good gpu im happy with it but I'm concerned about the next gen games coming to pc an was wondering if the EVGA GTX 780 ti is a reasonable upgrade for next gen gaming an is it worth upgrading from my current gpu? If you guys can give me some advice that would be very grateful ;D

It's not worth it yet. Wait another year or so and then get a new card. A year from now the new Maxwell cards from Nvidia should be out. Even then the 7870 xt is a pretty good card as long as you don't max everything out @ 1920x1080 or higher.

Dude, the 780Ti is basically the best graphics card you can buy. I've seen tests where it pulls 128FPS on Skyrim. It's crazy. If you can afford the 780Ti, by all means, go for it. Just double check that you're case will fit it, and that you'll have enough power supply to support it. If you need help with that, just post it here.

I do agree with Mephikun, though. My problem with waiting is I never get around to actually buying the thing ^.^ But yes, the new Maxwell architecture should definitely pump out some awesome hardware.
