Ok so I finished my custom PC build a couple of days ago and so now im trying to install the operating system (Windows 7 Home Premium) via USB , however every single time I try to install it, it just keeps on giving a black screen with a white underscore blinking.

The specs to my computer are:
Intel i7 4770k
Corsair Dominator 8gb 1888mhz
Asus GTX 780
Asus z87 Sabertooth motherboard
Corsair h100i
850w Power Supply

Solution
on the motherboard look at the last four numbers of the serial number of the motherboard this is the bios rev. make sure it at the newest rev use the usb flashback port to update the bios. on the mb check that the hard drives are on install sata ports. some mb have asmendia ports and are not bootable. in the bios under primanry display make sure it set to peg/pci not igpu so that the after market get is the first video output. on the usb stick does it come up with a message hit any key to boot from cd-rom if not try using the microsoft usb to iso tool. and make sure the usb stick is fat 32 formatted also in the bios you may have to turn off sercure boot and turn on legaisty device boot.

make sure you really created bootable os in your USB.! after that, select your pendrive in boot menu..! -> if it doesn't work please create a new bootable pendrive -> it still doesnt work..use a DVD and install through DVD drive.!
