How do I put an ACX cooler on stock cooled GTX 780?

Title says it all. I also plan on buying another 780, though it will be ACX cooled.

Rig:
Asus Sabertooth Z87

Haswell i7 4770K @ 4.5GHz (OVERCLOCKED THROUGH BIOS)

16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz RAM

Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD (Storage and Video Drive)

Samsung 840 PRO 256GB SSD (Boot Drive)

WD 1TB HDD (Dedicated Video Drive)

EVGA GeForce GTX 780 (Closed Air Cooled)

Corsair RM 850

Thermaltake V3 Black Edition

2x Roswell Fans @ 2000 RPM (Top and HDD Cooler)

Stock Thermaltake Fan @ 1300 RPM (Rear)

Stock Heatsink (Soon to be CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO)

Some random lighting kit

All mods from Asus that came with the motherboard are installed (Except the half a trillion Dust Defenders)

Solution
I know the rm series never turns on on idle, it only rpms up when it's on load. I have the AX760 and it has the best friendly cable management systems. I came from the TX 750 and were a mess to work with.

If you want the best case imo, the NZXT phantom 410 or 530 are great choices. they're cheap, and has one of the best airflow designs. and has a 6 way fan controller.

You want to put ACX cooler into another GPU? Don't understand what you're asking.

Or maybe you want to SLI? And you don't know if the the other will?

You can SLI any gtx 780, from any brand, any cooler, any clock speed. They're both the same chip. I guess the only disadvantage with 2 different coolers is how big and wide they are.

Why would you do that? Here's your first problem, every GPU is different. They have different fittings, for their own coolers. Where would you buy the cooler itself?

EVGA makes their own GPU PCB, and their coolers fit on their cards. What's wrong with your current gtx 780? My 780 ti stays cool. How good is your airflow in your case?

For the airflow, let's just say I'm not an electrician. Nor are there any spaces to put wires in my case...

I understand your point. Plus, once I get my "Failed to Initialize EasyAPI" error fixed, I'mma make it PULSE!

It depends on what case you have. What's your case?

I had 3 fans to begin with when I built my system, and things got hot because I had one a single intake (I can't blame NZXT for doing that) but the more intake fans you have, the better your GPU is getting the best cooling.

I'm guessing you have the reference cooler? With a single tiny blower type fan? Those types of GPUs depend on your case airflow.

Lets start with the case, what case do you have? and where are the fans located?

You actually have good amount of fan placements in this case, but no kidding on cable management. You can fit some good fans here. You can only fit 120mm's.

1 more on the front, 1 more on the top, and 1 more on the bottom.

Flip the power supply. Your case has a vent designed for power supplies to get their air from the bottom of the case. That's another reason you're not getting good airflow either. Your GPU and PSU are fighting for it. (Since the PSU has the bigger fan, it's winning)

Even thou the case has terrible cable management, your inside is a mess lol! Cables can act like a resistance for air to get in properly.

I always leave my fans on full blast, because my nzxt case came included with fan controller. If you get a nice fan controller, you can turn the fans up on full blast, and they'll bring in much more air while gaming. If I can make some recommendations, get better fans lol. I just don't like those LED fans, yuck. And they have crappy airflow. I upgraded my fans with Corsair AF120's and AF140's, and they really kick ass.

Actually, I have all the fans put in except the bottom one. It doesn't fit with the PSU.

I know my case is a mess. The PSU cables are like trying to bend rocks.

I agree with the different fan ideas. I am going to buy the CM Haf 935 Stacker soon, as I want to build my bro a small gaming PC.

What if I told you my PSU fan never turns on by design?

I'll take a look at the AF120.
