My backup media is missing, i dint provide a copy of these suddenly i tried to restore my computer but during a process i cancelled it couz i notice that i have no media, then the computer gave me option i choose to shutdown it but how can i restart it no media pesent appering in my monitor and said to select proper boot device, or insert boot media in selected boot device and press the key.to any one experience like this please help me on how to do it.

you will probably have to contact Toshiba.
when you are talking about windows 8 was this purchased separately or did the laptop come installed with it.
If it came installed you will probably have to call Toshiba to see if they will ship you recovery media for your model and they may charge for that.

you will need to run this on the same type of system (ie 32/64bit) and create the disks that way.
Your license will not work on this unless you purchased the license outright like at a store on either brick-and-motor or online, not if it came preinstalled.
Probable reason you cannot see anything or have a bootable media is that it was probably canceled during the formatting or mid instalation and it has nothing to work on.
