Do I need a new motherboard?

Currently my set up is kind of basic and I am thinking of spending a few hundred £ on upgrading to a new case/PSU/RAM. However, currently I am running an ASUS M4N68T - M LE V2 and wondering if I should also get a new motherboard to go in the new case.
Other components:
AMD Phenom II X4 3.4 GHz Processor
GeForce GTX 660
4GB RAM - To be upgraded to 16GB (Limit my current mobo can handle)
Crappy case and even crappier PSU which has been burnt out by my CPU fan directly under it (Old case with PSU at top....)

Solution
I would. That's an old nVidia-chipset board that runs a very slow (1000MHz) Hypertransport buss. A modern board runs at 2600MHz. You'll get better overall performance from a new board. Keep in mind you may need to get a new Windows license for it.

That's a full tower, so should take any board you'd care to use. I'd select a 990FX board from Asus or ASRock, or possibly Gigabyte. I'm using a 990FX Sabertooth (R1.0) on my AMD build, and it works well. The Sabertooth also has a five year warranty.
If that's a little too rich, take a look at this spreadsheet: https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AgN1D79Joo7tdE9xMUFlMEVWeFhuckJEVF9aMmtpUFE&gid=4 and choose a board that 1) uses the 900-series chipset (watch out for 960, 980, and even 970DE boards that are actually liar-labeled 700-series boards), 2) isn't listed as having VRM problems, and 3) is within your budget.
