I plugged in my removable HDD and saw a file I've never seen before.

It's called NIGHTCRAWLER (the name of my laptop) and its icon is what looks like a hard disk and a CD with a green arrow. Is this a backup image of my laptop?

I remember telling Windows to do a backup to this HDD, but I don't remember ever seeing this file or ever completing the backup O_o

Night Crawler is a game. Are you sure you do not have it?
If there is nothing you need on that HDD just format it.
Problem solved! Happy computer. :)

If this is an external HDD and you have not put any files on it you will not need the files.
Just format is under my computer with everything set to default and you will be fine.

It seems it is my laptop's backup. The laptop was asking to check backup settings and the file icon was the exact same as the one on the Hard Drive :)

Ok, that makes sense. The HDD is being used as a backup disk.
That is why the name is the same as your computer. :)
