I've been having this problem for a bit. My comp will randomly shut off while playing games.
Running a amd fx-6300
MSI r9 270
8 gb of Kingston ram
600 watts PSU
Gigabyte 78lmt USB3 mobo
64 gb SSD
250 gb HDD
Not sure monitored all temps on gpu and CPU never went above 50c thought maybe old HDD was faulty changed it. Wondering if its the hdd overheating or if I'm just pulling to much out of psu. Also ran check on my ram. Any help would be great.

Maybe your power supply if working to hard at its peak. If you are overclocking things, I could potentially see it being a problem if it isnt overheating. you probably need 450 or 500 min. for your graphics card and your cpu is 95W. So gaming and pushing those two could definitely peak your power supply.

If your computer requires more wattage than the power supply then then computer will crash due to wattage prblems as things wont be able to run properly. A bigger PSU would help especially if you plan on adding anything to the computer.
