So, Here is my problem.

I am building a new PC.
I'm going to be using this PC for everyday use such as Microsoft Office, Adobe PS, AE (Editing Mainly), Recording Videos, and just Gaming is it a good idea to slam a new copy of Win 8 in it or stay with my good 'ol Win 7 ?

More about : windows windows build

well, technically win 8 is the faster OS.

it is less taxing on the hardware.

but really its just preference on whether you like the metro design or not.

If there is less taxing on the hardware that means there might be a tiny increase in FPS ?

Yes, look at benchmarks. on BF4 specifically, you get a 10-15 fps boost on win 8 than win 7
