hi, I just purchased a r9-270x and I'd like to squeeze some more out of my computer/gfx card which i think I could by upgrading my processor.. my specs..

8 gb ddr3
xfx r9-270x
AMD a6-5600k 3.6 ghz dual core
asus fm2 mobo
600 watt psu
win 8 64 bit

I was wondering if my processor would be holding back this video card, what are your thoughts?

I was thinking of something like this as I am trying to budget, however i do have some money to throw down if i have to

any recommendations?
