I'm looking to up grade an older i5 - 3330 ivy bridge 6 gb, lenovo machine into a dedicated game streaming computer, its an lga 1155, h61 chipset,1 tb hd, the parts im looking at now would be an i7-3770k (might not over clock) and up to 8gb ram ( i dont know which brand is best yet) and a new low profile gforse gtx, 750 or ti,must be low profile i have the slim case. ive been doing lots of research on these parts and it seems like a good build over all for the price and parts i have, does anyone see any potential problems here, or any way to get a better build for less $$, looking to get at least a solid 720p stream with possibility to go 1080p,i have capture card already.any help would be great ty.

I think you're upgrade path is flawed. The low profile case will limit you choice in gpu. A 750 or 750ti is not going to fit. Your mobo and cpu is not all that bad and is a decent combo with the 750 ti and will not bottleneck it. Six G's is ok for gaming. If you want to upgrade to 8 just get a matching 4G ram stick. Spend your money on a new case, a 750ti and a good 400 to 500 watt psu. It can be done for $350 and the result will be a excellent 720p gaming PC and a decent 1080p PC. A H61 mobo is socketed.

im not sure if the 3330 soldered in, its an lenovo h520s been having trouble getting exacting specs for this modelas thereseem to be many varriritys of the same yet different.and yes the slim form factor worry's me a bit and was planing to port it to a new larger case if needed for cooling. im not planing on using it for much gaming but the option is always nice, i rather will be using it for streaming only to twitch using xsplit, and twitch plugins, the graphic card is purely for using multi monitors and to lg screen tv. i have heard people do stream with less, but worry about the cpu load on heavy for the video cap/ stream im using another computer to game on, external capture with the avermedia lg, so only min use, but high cpu- ram speed is desirable for extended live streaming, kinda want to future proof it a bit, jus so it wont jus die on me on a live show, and ty for responding.
