I can either buy 1 260x now and crossX later, or wait 2 months and get the 270x, please advise, note i play at 1080p and my game is bf4!

Wait the 2 months, get the 270x, then xfire that later. You'll see excellent frames in bf4 then.

Well in about 7 months I will be purchasing a 290, so i really just need to know what will get me on my feet faster, I will not be able to crossfire immediatly but I would like to know what frames i will get with xfire 260x's

For bf4 the 260x is barely above minimum recommended, so look for medium-high settings to get playable framerates

playing on low-med looks the same as ultra to me, but I cant find ANY benchmarks for the 260x crossfire on any graphical setting, I would like to know what frames I would get with crossfire, I have however seen that Xfire 270x's out perform 290's, so logicaly Xfire 260x should out perform a 280x
