Hey everyone I just made my first build wooo!!!!
tested it outside the case and it worked fine, did a usb windows install, got it installed so i decided it was time to put the motherboard in the case. after doing so it wont power on. im getting the power button to light up (it does that when power is connected) but it's not booting, no fans turn on, no led's not even the little q fault screen. Ohh and i don't have a graphics card but that didn't matter before the motherboard was installed in the case, so it shouldn't now.

My parts are as follows:
Intel Core i7-4771 Haswell 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo)

ASUS Z87-PRO LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s US

ADATA Premier Pro SP600 ASP600S3-256GM-C 2.5" 256G

Rosewill BLACKHAWK Blue Edition Gaming ATX Tower

KINGWIN ABT-850MM 850W ATX 12V v2.2 / EPS 12V v2.9

Team Zeus Yellow 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM

Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver (on the cpu)

What case? If it is a cheap case the IO interface could be junk and not working.
With everything installed in your case try starting your system with that power button.
If all works we can rule down to case and mixed up wiring.
If the case has a reset button try starting the system with that.
The cables could just be backwards. :)

Is the case IO hooked up right?
It sounds like you do not have the power button cable hooked to the MOB right.
Also, make sure the 20 + 4 pin connector is in all the way.
Check the CPU connector and make sure it is in right.
Infact check all of the cables.
Read your MOB's manual and make sure you have all of the cables plugged in right.
Happy Computing! :)

I have already tried unplugging all the wires from the case and still nothing.
