When my i7 4770k is on idle it sits around 35-45 C but when I use Prime95 with the maximum heat and 100% full load on each core it gets to 90+C, I'm using a H100i in push pull, when I use the Blend test it can still get to around 80-90C.... When I game it can sit between 50-70C?

you are within your cpu's threshold but seeing such rapid temps in games is a sign of instability.

case fans are very important and should be configured with moderate speed fans blowing in across your hard drives, gpu and motherboard with powerfull fans on the top and back.

prime95 is really bad for cores that share threads and in many ways can just be called dated. aida64 loads your system with a 100% real world scenario.
its stock 3.9ghz will carry you into the future with your high performance gpu or even two

After temps rise above 70C you stand the chance of melting your CPU and your idle to full load is a larger difference than most. I recommend cutting back the juices that you are flowing to your CPU through BIOS other wise get a better and bigger fan.

I just went into the BIOS and the idle temps were 30 for the cpu and 25 for the mobo

My backplate was installed wrong. I rotated it to fix it. You'll see that the backplate has to spots near the middle that at going inwards. That's where you match it with the screws if you know what I mean. I'm sorry my explaining is bad.

i say 60c is decent stability 50c optimal

not being within these values everyday will heavily reduce the life and becomes impossible to know if u could start a fire when a over clock is in place or less extreme damage hardware

AMD is able to reach 5ghz on air cooling when quality heat sinks and fans are in use

they do in fact recommend around 62c for alot of chips for safe temp

You might of just saved me, they don't match up, what temps will I be looking at when I do it?

Just changed it around, temps are actually worse now, might be down to the thermal even though I replaced it, I will try spread it out tomorrow like last time, this time I used the pea sized method, last time I used a credit card to spread it...
