At this point I'm thinking its my motherboard. I made a new build with these specs:
Gigabyte GTX 780
Intel Core i5 4670k quad core
Asus z87-Pro v edition
Corsair 750 watt PSU
G.Skill x series 8gb (2x4gb) 1866 RAM
One of the sticks of ram came dead. I knew this because my system would not read one of the sticks and I tried booting with the dead stick and it wouldnt. I sent the RAM back for a replacement so currently Im running on 2gb ram on one stick since its not reading the other stick. But in the bios it shows 2 sticks placed. (a1,b2) slots. Is it my motherboard?
