Just assembled computer and I can't get sound to play out of my headphones. My ASUS motherboard has Realtek HD Audio Manager that pops up when I plug my headphones in trying to configure sound and when I press the test button I get a demonstration of Stereo Sound. However I can't get Youtube or any other programs to produce any sound. I can't even get the *DING* sound when I adjust the Volume Mixer levels.
(Also my first experience with Windows 8)
