Pretty much anything with windows vista is able to run windows 7 without any problems. The price range is normally $89-110 usd The cheapest one from a trusted seller is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?gclid=CM-NsK... Your system is 64bit ready so you should get windows 7 64bit OEM

Yep, hardware requirements are actually lower for 7 than for Vista (tells you just how bad Vista was), drivers may or may not be an issue, as most vista drivers work in 7, but some manufacturers limit them to only their intended OS. I'd go with 64 bit home premium (as that's what you'll be forced to get to upgrade anyways, to install another version like professional or ultimate, you have to do a clean install).

I would forgo the "Upgrade" and just get the full on OEM version. It's not anymore expensive than the Upgrade version. It's less hassle to install, no need to know the old product key to install Windows 7.

It's always better to do a fresh install anyway rather than an upgrade install. Less hassle, less weird problems, etc.
