I was trying to enhance the display of my PC. Ofcourse it should be the GPU. But my friend told me to upgrade my RAM first from 1333 to 1600mhz.

The problem is I don't have the money yet to upgrade both RAM and GPU. So if I want better performance or graphics right away, should I go with RAM upgrade first rather than GPU? Or GPU first rather than RAM? Thank you guys!

you wont see a increase of much of anything in ram unless your going from 4gb to 8gb, get the gpu

GPU.
There's no way RAM will help you more than a new GPU.
RAM has almost nothing to do with the display. RAM and the Processor is what desides how many things you can have open at the same time.

Get the GPU, Gaming at 1333MHZ isn't THAT bad.

nah, ram speed doesnt help your gaming FPS. stick with your ram, unless you want to buy bigger capacity, like 2x 4GB in the future

for gaming, gpu is more important and you just need 8gbs. Also it doesnt matter much between 1333mhz and 1600mhz

You can not even realize the change between if you update from 1333 to 1600.Get a good GPU Instead of RAM.& 1333 to 1600 is not that Importanat. If you have 2 GB then switch to 4GB then you see eye Catching Difference in Performance.& Use dual channel 2*2 GB Instead of only 1 Stick 4 GB.

One follow-up question though. My friend told me that since I'm using an APU (A10-6790K), I should upgrade my RAM speed first because iGPU of my procie depends on it? So...?

No.

if you're using a discrete card such as the 7750 discussed on your other posts there's no point in upgrading RAM speed for your iGPU.

I'm actually thinking of just utilizing my iGPU. I'm really trying to find more options. But still Thanks AshyCFC, helps alot!

You would get superior performance out of buying a 7750 than buying new RAM to use your iGPU.
