Ok, so I built a new PC about a month ago, it has windows 8.1 64 bit on a 120gb ssd drive, and the mouse im using is a Logitech M510 wirless mouse. The problem Im having is the mouse seems to jump around every now and then, like its lagging every few seconds, my system isnt lagging it just seems like my mouse is. I put fresh battries in and it still dose this. Im worried that my system may be messed up somewhere or something along those lines. Someone mentioned to me that it could be from my system RAM being used up but I have 16gb of RAM and everything is fine, except the mouse. Any help?

What kind of surface are you using the mouse on?
It is normal for a mouse to jump around like that is the surface is glossy.
Try putting a it on a mouse pad or if you don't have one on a piece of paper or something.
it may be as simple as that..

I have a PowerSpec G412, which appears to have similar specs to yours, though mine is bought, not built. Mine also has Windows 8.1 64-bit on a 120 GB SSD, 16 GB RAM, and I'm using a Logitech M510. I was able to reduce mouse and keyboard lag a whole lot (though not entirely) by getting rid of all of the Logitech drivers and using the generic Windows drivers. This meant getting rid of both the unifying software and SetPoint (64-bit version). It did come at the cost of being able to use the side tilt function on the mouse wheel, though. Still figuring out how to get that back.

Also, the same exact mouse, keyboard, and unifying adapter worked fine on my old machine running Windows 8.1 32-bit. Something about the 64-bit version of Windows, I suppose.
