No. Buy DDR3 memory, or get a ddr2 motherboard.

DDR2 is a 'No' go with m5a97 R2.0 motherboard. You need to get DDR3 1066 and upwards memory for this mobo.

2Rx8 PC3-12800u and i have 8gig of DD3 Dimm r tell me if any of these are compatible with the motherboard thanks!!!
