Mouse wheel vertical speed resets after every boot

I have an a4tech x7 r4 wireless mouse. Recently i reinstalled my windows, so i downloaded the software again for the mouse and i set it up again. The problem is that this software has no setting for mouse scroll speed, but it worked fine before i reinstalled my windows. But now my scroll speed is crazy fast. So i go to the control panel, to "mouse" and i change the scroll speed (it was somewhere about 79!) to 8. The problem is that everytime i boot, this value resets. What should i do?

Solution
Uninstall the software associated with the mouse and use it as a generic USB pointer device. Set your scroll speed how you like it and then reboot. Let us know what happens.

Good luck.

I uninstalled the software then I rebooted, made the settings i want from windows "mouse" and then reinstalled the application. i had to set my buttons and my profiles all over again but then i rebooted and the scrolling problem was solved. I couldn't just let the mouse without its software because it has extra usable buttons that stopped working after i uninstalled the software.

I'm gonna rate your answer as the solution because that was that pointed me in the right direction to get this fast scrolling speed to stop. thanks
