Hey guys, i recently got some 1866 2x4 gigs ram and my timings atm are 9,10,9,27.287,2T Fsb:dram 1:9, now thats with the xmp profile 1.3 on my asrock z87 extreme 6, so its running at 1800mhz, is this normal or should i be at 1.5v?

what is the rated voltage of your ram ? and what brand ? at 1866 with xmp enabled what is your voltage ?

Hi,Rated voltage is 1.5, and with 1866 and xmp enabled its 1.7, Corsair dominator Platinum.

Yes its fully stable, it was fully stable on 1.9v as well, the thing is my mobo says xmp 1.3 should be running at 1800mhz at 1.5 but i am reading 1.9v on cpuz and cpuid hwmonitor

cpuz can be a bit funny like that sometimes , is it the same in your bios ?

well in my bios it says load xmp 1.3 1800mhz at 1.5, but it shows 1.9 after reboot

hmmm that's a new one i have not seen this before,
try switching ram settings in bios to manual with same settings as xmp but turn off xmp , see if you still get 1.9v
is there more than 1 profile in xmp ?

What mobo and CPU? Do you have the latest BIOS?

asrock z87 extreme 6, 17 4770k, it just wont load 1.5v even if i try it manually very weird indeed.
