It's compatible but it's not worth the money, it will be downclocked!

buy any ddr3 ram clocked at 1600 or 1866 Mhz, having a latency 8 or 9 for the best performance.

The mobo can handle the DRAM, big question is whether your CPU can, notably the MC (memory controller), will prob require an OC
