Computer Randomly Shuts Down no BSOD

I have a desktop computer that I was hoping people could help me diagnose.

It has been randomly shutting off for about a month infrequently. For the past two days, it has become impossible to see it stay on for over a period of maybe two hours without shutting off.

It does not post a BSOD as far as I can see.
It is not caused by heating issues, as I have even tried keeping the case open with a stand-up fan pointed at it.
I have tried to run memtest, but the computer also shuts off during that.
I am not overclocking anything and running everything on stock.

Please help me figure out what is causing the issue so I can replace only the components necessary and minimize costs.

Computer Specs:
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 945
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaw Series 2x4GB
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaw Series 2x2GB
Motherboard: ASUS M4A77TD
GPU: Gigabyte GTX460
PSU: Corsair TX750M
HDD: WD Blue 500GB
Network Card: ASUS PCE-N15

If it is failing memtest, then you should try running memtest on each stick of ram individually to see if one of the sticks is bad. You could also try reseating the ram as well to see if that helps. Maybe even switch the slots they are in. For some reason my computer won't even boot unless I have the ram sticks in certain slots. I actually had to number the ram sticks. Weird I know, but it worked. lol.

You may want to use CPUZ to see if your ram is at the right timings. If not you may have to manually set them in your bios.

Newer motherboard bioses usually add further ram support for stability, and compatibility issues also. Maybe you could update your board to the latest bios as well.

I do not see errors on memtest (yet). The computer just shuts down during the memtest (running off a flash drive off boot).
I will try check ram timings again (it was correct last time I checked).

Update: my last memtest went through 4 passers before again, the computer itself just shut down.
RAM timings by default and as defined by G.Skill did not make a difference (the default was not the one posted by G.Skill for the RAM)

Please help, it continues to randomly shut down.
