CPU: Intel Core i7-377K # 3.5GHz
CPU INfor: IVY Bridge, 4 Cores, MMX, x86-64, SSE4.2
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V
Cooler: Corsair H100i

I have had my computer for about 6 months now and only recently have the fans on the water cooler started boosting up in speed. I use to idle around 30 deg C, but now with the fans on full blast, I idle around 55C. I reapplied thermal paste.

I downloaded OCCT and the core temps are as follows:

Around 55C for cores 1,2,3 and 1.5C for core 0

It is showing in real time. What I noticed is that is will show the temperature in real-time for about 30 seconds to a minute, but then will drop to 1.5C. The other three cores are showing in real-time.

I dowloaded real temp and now it is showing the temperatures. Now it brings me back to my real problem. The idle temperature is averaging out at 46C. Looks like the H100i pump is broken.

I opened up corsair Link software and it shows the the pump is running at 2291rpm. The termpature of the H100i is 44.4C, the i7-3770K is showing 51C.

Even though is shows the pump is running, could it still be the problem?
