i just recently formatted my PC and now i cant choose a partition because all of my hdds arent NTFS, i checked and i can use the convert option in the command prompt to change them, but is there a way i can open it?

also i cant enter without the installation disk because i didnt back up (im stupid) so im basically stuck forever on the windows 7 installation part.

anything i can do?

i already figured it out, i just opened the cmd via shift+f10 in the setup and then formatted my GPT partition to MBR and it worked. alas, i now have no drivers for anything so i need to download all of them at the Dell support site since i have a dell inspiron 15 3520.

Can you take your drive to a friend's PC?

Connect it as an extra storage drive, then use his system to copy your files and data (backup) to external storage, and his system could probably convert the partition to NTFS as well.

If you don't have an accommodating and reliable buddy, then a local repair shop could take care of it as well, though for a price I would expect.
